COVID-19 Response

GREETINGS!

At Greater Austin Moving & Storage (GAM) we are working to be diligently responsible to do our part in fighting the spread of COVID-19 as we continue to support our clients. We are closely monitoring this situation daily to ensure the health and safety of our employees, clients and communities. With more cases appearing globally and concern growing daily, we wanted to provide an update on our operations, as well as share information that can help you navigate the current uncertainty in preparation for your move. 

CURRENT UPDATE

We are actively requiring employees that exhibit flu-like symptoms to stay at home, reminding our team to wash their hands as much as possible, and cleaning and disinfecting our trucks and supplies on a regular basis. All employees are required to wear masks while in our client’s homes. We also provide hand sanitizer and sanitizer wipes in our trucks for their use. While we like to be cordial in our interactions, out of respect for your safety as well as our team, we will be avoiding physical contact with customers and pets.

WHAT YOU CAN DO

As your move date approaches please let us know if you are running a fever and/or if you are suffering from flu-like symptoms. We trust that you will keep us informed either through email or by calling to let us know in advance so we can collectively decide if your move should be postponed. Additionally, we ask that you help prep your home or office in advance by disinfecting surfaces, furnishings where possible,  and high traffic areas to limit as much exposure to our team as possible.

We hope our abundance of caution helps ensure that you and yours are settled into your new home or office safely.
